Abstract

This work confronts issues relating to two possible construction of educational materials for distance education, aiming the understanding of the concept of education underlying this production considering the initial imposition of public policy for the field. For that purpose two undergraduate distance courses of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora which belong to the Brazilian Open University (UAB) are analyzed.
