Abstract
Conflicts between moral conceptions can become incompatible and even irreconcilable. In schools, this reverberates in a special way. In a pluralistic society such conflicts are not so easy to deal with. This paper shows that both what kind of values and virtues must be taught and how politically to decide about this can be focused on with the help of the rawlsian conception of reasonability dispite the criticisms it has received.
