Abstract

This work is part of a research which have built the dissertation, developed in the Post-Graduate Education (POSEDUC) State University of Rio Grande do Norte/UERN. Its main objective is to reflect on how the stories, knowledge, experiences and makings of student peasants have contributed to their graduation in the Pedagogy of Land Degree Course of UERN. We used the (auto)biographical study method, considering the narratives of themselves as practical training. Josso (2010), Halbwachs (1990), and Momberger (2008) have sustained the discussions regarding the theoretical and methodological aspects. Narratives build knowledge and practice experience, anchored in the peasant culture. We conceive the country as a space for possibilities, struggles and conquests, defending an education grounded in the cultural principles that lie within the collective peasant community.
