The emergence of Scientific Ceará announced in the legal texts

Abstract

This study aims to understand the process of creating and implementing Ceará Científico through an analysis of legal education texts. qualitative bibliographic and documentary study that seeks to answer the question: How did Ceará Científico come about, what are its scope and meaning? The corpus analyzed comes from the Federal Government and the state of Ceará. The results point to the legal frameworks of education in favour of research as a guarantee and principle, stimulating the institutionalization of projects, programs and strategic actions within the scope of educational policies to popularize science, culture, and technology in the state of Ceará. These programs and projects structure different strategies that culminate in annual events to socialize the results of educational practices, involving research in different areas of the curriculum: The Talent Festival (Festal) (2000-2003) and the State Science and Culture Fairs, (2007-2015). In addition,  since 2016 Ceará Científico has emerged.
