Abstract

This text is a result from a theoretical research in progress, to discuss the question of method in Michel Foucault, for there is still serious confusion among the French thinker critics. On one side, there are those who carelessly insist that Foucault deny any kind of method; on the other hand, there are those who defend Foucault and try to explain his method. Hence our interest in discussing the issue, because we believe it is so much broad and more complex, since Foucault thinks himself as a not denier of methods, nor defends any other. While for many the method is a way to follow, to Foucault it is a point of arrival.
